Chetan Bansal joined the Office of Technology Commercialization in January of 2008 as a technology assistant. Chetan assesses and markets University of Maryland information and physical science inventions disclosed to OTC. He received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland and is pursuing a master's of science degree in electrical engineering from the University as well. Over the past year Chetan has worked at a Washington, D.C. law firm as a technical specialist. At the law firm Chetan focused on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a broad range of technology areas in the electrical, mechanical, and computer arts.
